DIY CHRISTMAS GIFT TAGS
Very lovely. Very easy. And very quick! These DIY Christmas gift tags are a snap. Let me show you how.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Printable Gift Tags. Download yours at www.vginvites.etsy.com
- Inkjet or Laser Printer
- 8.5×11 Card Stock in your choice of colors (I like white or kraft)
- Paper Cutter or Xacto knife and metal ruler
- Hole Punch
- Glitter and Glue Stick or Rhinestone Stickers (optional and can be purchased at Michael’s)
Download your holiday gift tags from VG Invites
Print your tags on 8.5 x 11 premium card stock. Note: You may use whatever color you wish, but be certain that they are light enough so that you can see the design and write on them.
Cut your gift tags using the guides on the front of the tag. You can cut your Christmas tags using a paper cutter, like mine above, or you may use an Xacto knife and a metal ruler. Please see my video tutorial for this method at the end of this post.
Punch a whole in the upper left corner next to the “M” in “Merry”. The whole will be useful when threading ribbon through and tiring your your Christmas gift.
Add some sparkle. Embellish your holiday gift tags with some glitter or peal and stick rhinestones. You can purchase them at your local craft store or at Michaels.
GIFT WRAPPING SUGGESTIONS:
Print these tags out on white card stock. Follow the instructions above and embellish as desired. Wrap your gift in brown kraft paper. Tie the tag to your gift using pretty white lace ribbon.
Print these tags out on brown kraft paper card stock. Follow the instructions above and embellish as desired. Wrap your gift using doubled up sheets of gold tissue paper. Using brown twine, tie your tags to your gift.
